# M2M in Motion Integration

### Connection Overview

*M2M in Motion uses an API key in all of its current versions*

## Instructions:

1. Reach out to your M2M in Motion rep and request an API key for MacroPoint access.
2. Please have them specify if their key is to be used on the version 1 or version 2 API
3. Please email the API key to your Descartes MacroPoint Activation Consultant
4. Truck identifiers used are "Vehicle Names" exactly as they appear in the portal
